Classes

Top Gun   9.99 and quicker   Dial-ins quicker than 9.99 must compete in Top Gun
Pro ET   10.00 - 11.49  
Super Street 11.50 – 13.99    
Street   14.00 – 19.99   Street legal cars with valid registration, safety check and insurance.
Bike ET      All motorcycles.
Jr Dragster ET      All NHRA Jr Dragster rules will apply.

Points

Points are accumulated through the season by the driver and per racing class.  Points awarded to different drivers, even of the same car, cannot be accumulated.  Points awarded in different classes, even by the same driver in the same car, cannot be accumulated.

  • 25 points Appearance & Paid to race & Dial-in and bracketed
  • 10 points Per Round
  • 50 points Class Winner

While GIRA will make every effort to host each scheduled race, in the event of a cancelation, e.g. due to bad weather, cumulative points for all races actually held will be considered final and results awarded on that basis.

While GIRA will make every effort to run each race to completion, in the event of an interrupted race, e.g. because of track conditions,  points will be accumulate for the rounds completed.  Points for partial rounds will not be counted.

Results will be posted at the tower at the beginning of every race. Corrections MUST be requested no latter than close-of-racing on the day the results are posted.

Ladders

Pairings and byes will be assigned by random draw.
