The Garden Isle Racing Association is a not-for-profit corporation which promotes safe Motorsports and responsible street driving. GIRA hosts NHRA-sanctioned drag racing at Kauai Raceway Park in Mana.

Running safe, well organized races is expensive. Just a few of the expenses GIRA is responsible for include: cash prizes, ambulance, track preparation, lights, toilets, insurance, advertising, trash removal, sanctioning fees, trophies, track rental from DLNR, and security.
